This Song celebrates the grand spirit of the female sportsmen going to Australia to participate in the hockey championship. The lyrics signify that sky is the limit for those who seek success and that once you start on your mission, you should never back down. Salim Suleiman was the composer for this song, Jaideep Sahni wrote the lyrics and Hema Sardesai sang it.

‘Gulabo’ is the track from the recent Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor movie ‘Shandaar.’ The energetic music by Amit Trivedi makes this Song written by Anvita Dutt and sung by Vishal Dadlani, Anusha Mani a fully entertaining melody. Alia breaks some of the prevailing conventions by dressing up as a boy, putting a mustache and matching her steps alongside Shahid. It’s really fun to watch the Music video which gives a new dimension to womanhood.

Mary Kom made our country proud with her outstanding boxing skills. This motivating track is from the 2014 movie of the same name made on her real life story. Penned down by Prashant Ingole and sung by Vishal Dadlani, it shows how Mary Kom struggles hard, with all her might to enter the boxing championship after giving birth to twins. It’s a huge achievement for a woman coming from rural Manipur to make such a prominent mark in the boxing world and Priyanka Chopra does complete justice to Mary’s role.

Pink Anthem

This is the title Song from the 2016 Indian Courtroom Drama Social Thriller directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. The movie was specially screened for Rajasthan Police so as to train them to be sensitive and sensible about women’s right and dignity. Phenomenal singer/composer Anupam Roy and lyricist Irshad Kamil do full justice to the theme of the movie with the amazing Music and the didactic lyrics talking about the basic rights of women. Jonita Gandhi sings it beautifully along with EPR Iyer who does the Rap part.

Mardaani Anthem

This one starts with an ode to goddess Durga and could be heard in the 2014 crime thriller ‘Mardaani’, dealing with the problem of human-trafficking. Salim Sulaiman creates apt Music and Kausar Munir writes the perfect lyrics for this Song sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Vijay Prakash. Rani Mukherjee is seen beating up the goons and criminals. Her bold and confident acting adds a zing to the Song. Millions of women get inspired by Rani’s character and try to imbibe her strong qualities within themselves.

Yeh Honsla

A musical masterpiece ‘Yeh Honsla’ is from the movie ‘Dor’. Salim Sulaiman’s extraordinary musical sense, Mir Ali Husain’s lyrics and Shafqat Amanat Ali, Karsan Sargathia’s singing adds the gravity to this Song. Ayesha Takia playing the lead character surprised everyone with her deglamorized avatar. This Bollywood Movie brings into light the plight of a widow in India and how she singlehandedly struggles to receive justice after her husband’s death. It is an inspirational track and will lift up your spirits for sure.

Duniya Mein Hum Aaye

Now here we have an old melody from the classic 1957 movie, ‘Mother India’ showcasing the hardships and pain inflicted upon a single woman who tries hard to raise her kids while going against a greedy moneylender. Despite the hurdles, she refuses to sacrifice her integrity. Music Director Naushad composed the Music, Shakeel Badayuni wrote the lyrics and our very own Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar has sung it perfectly with sheer pain and anguish expressed through her voice.
