Unveiling the magic behind Arijit Singh’s Latest Musical Masterpieces


Arijit Singh is a world-class composer and singer. He was born on the 25th of April 1987 at Jiaganj Murshidabad, West Bengal, where people don’t consider him a star even now.


He specializes particularly in Hindi songs but has also sung in innumerable different languages. Training began quite early for him. He started learning at home from his maternal aunt, who trained him in Indian classical music. He also learnt classical from Rajendra Prasad Hazari and learnt tabla from Dhirendra Prasad Hazari. At the age of 9, he was awarded a scholarship for training in vocal music.

His career took a turn with advice from his guru to participate in “Fame Gurukul” in the year 2005. He stood 6th. After that, he participated in “10 ke 10 Le Gaye Dil” and stood first. Post this show, he decided to move to Mumbai and began a recording studio using his prize money. He began composing music for advertisements, radio stations and news channels. He has worked with renowned directors like Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal and Shekhar, Mithoon, Pritam etc. He gathered a lot of knowledge while working with them. At this point, he also worked hard to improve himself.
