Kumar Sanu’s charismatic voice has enticed generations of Bollywood Music lovers. He got his first major break when Gulshan Kumar along with music directors Nadeem and Shravan gave him a chance to sing most of the songs for the 1990 film, ‘Aashiqui’. The songs were recorded earlier for an album and then the movie was made around the songs. Whereas the song ‘Kuch Na Kaho, Kuch Bhi Na Kaho’ from (1942, A Love Story) made the Zurich-based 22-year-old Abhishek Mitra suffering from cerebral palsy respond positively. Abhishek couldn’t bat a single eyelid, but this song made him cry, laugh, smile and scream. Doctor’s say that the frequency of his voice hits the brain and energizes it. Medical experts are trying to grasp that frequency. According to Shanu, this is his greatest achievement.
