This song will give you the actual taste of patriotism. There is a chorus, there is live rhythm and percussion. Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy just makes the music perfect and the beats sound amazing. The lyrics by Gulzar are quite simple and talk about a soldier reaching his/ her target. Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani and Divya Khumar sang in their heart melting voices. Their singing somehow brings out the personality of Sam Manekshaw more poignantly.

This one is the romantic number from the album and is a mind blowing duet by the god and goddess of Bollywood playback industry Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s music will take you back to the bygone era. This song is apt for the period that the film is set in. It has been beautifully written by Gulzar. The song talks about a small thing and how it paves way for big wonders. You get to witness Sam Manekshaw’s dance with his wife.

This epic song will boost your confidence. Gulzar’s lyrics have a beautiful poetic essence and patriotic flavor. He talks about soldiers continuing with their pursuits and not stopping even once. Shankar Mahadevan’s voice has a magnetic aura required for this song. The beats and music of the song by Shankar- Ehsaan-Loy will make chills run down your spine. The music could have been more catchy.

Dum Hai To Aaja
The official video for this song has not been released yet but Sunidhi Chauhan seems to be back in bang with her powerful voice. Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Gulzar’s combo as the composer and lyricist makes the song more amazing. This song is about grabbing opportunities when the time is right and the song is a soft, medium paced one. The genre is not a typical Sunidhi Chauhan one, but it suits her really well.
