The song ‘Mai Hoon’ is a supersonic hit from the Sabbir Khan directed movie ‘Munna Michael’ starring Tiger Shroff, Nidhhi Agerwal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. This is Sabbir’s third movie with Tiger and ‘Mai Hoon’ is the first song from the movie, being a dance number, it showcases Tiger’s brilliant Jackson like dancing skills. This song is the title track from the film starring Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Athiya Shetty and Illeana D Cruz. Badshah, Juggy D., Yash Narvekar and Sukriti Kakar are the singers and ‘Kumaar’ has penned down his fantastic lyrics. It is more of a party anthem with a tremendously catchy beat. We find Arjun Kapoor dancing in two rocking avatars, the two brother’s Charan and Karan. Charan an overtly desi guy grown up in Punjab pairs up with Athiya Shetty and Karan more of an anglicized version of  Charan who’s come back from London pairs up with Ileana D Cruz. The track is somehow a bizarre combination of the western and Indian elements. We find Rap as well as the mellifluous music from the Dhols. Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor in his double role as well as the girls are found dancing their hearts out to this groovy party song which is more of a mesh of Bollywood, Punjabi Rap, and Dhol.

This spellbinding romantic track, sung by the Hero of Romance in the Bollywood music industry Arijit Singh himself has been penned down by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Pritam. The trio reunited after a long time, since their work in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Different listeners have different opinions about this foot tapping track perfect for a relaxing Sunday evening. Starred by the gorgeous Kriti Sanon and the versatile Sushant Singh Rajput, this delightful and chirpy song portrays reincarnation. We find the story of two separated lovers parted by distance but wishing to meet each other in future shown throughout the movie and this song in particular.

4. Meri Pyaari Bindu- Mana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi

This track could be heard in the Akshay Roy directorial movie with Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmaan Khurana as the lead actors. Crooned by the multi-talented diva Parineeti herself, this mellow soothing track became an overnight favorite. People, in general, are loving how the actresses are showing their singing talents so flawlessly. Parineeti, on the other hand, is a trained classical singer and was more than happy to have received this opportunity to sing. She even got the chance to match her scales with the much accomplished Sonu Nigam who sang the male version for the song. The soulful number with all the inert yearning, desire, pining, longing and a hidden question strikes a chord with almost every listener, hence this song has been on repeat mode for many.

This Anurag Basu movie Jagga Jasoos is more of a musical, a genre not much common to Bollywood. We find the stammering protagonist who’s not able to express himself easily expressing himself through singing songs, thus the entire movie is packed up with some tremendously fun and rhythmically harmonious tunes. The songs are so alluring that the viewers won’t be able to resist singing along. Dressed up as a schoolboy, Ranbir dances like crazy and shows his mad antics along with his other classmates in the hostel. Pritam, Arijit Singh, and Amit Mishra have done a wonderful job with the vocals. Vijay Ganguly and Ruel Dausan Varindani gave some totally quirky and offbeat moves to it. The biggest surprise with this song was to see Mr. Anurag Basu in a cameo role with a red beanie cap getting his shirt ripped off by Ranbir Kapoor.

We find the eponymous Shahrukh and Anushka pair coming together in this happy go lucky song after ages. Prior to this, we saw Shahrukh and Anushka dancing along the Dal Lake in Kashmir full of fun and frolic in the movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. The difference is that this one is set up amidst the fields of Punjab. Shahrukh as Harry or Harvinder and Anushka as Sejal totally rock this colorful, chirpy song toppled up with folk flavors from Punjab. Harry as well as Sejal showcase lots of life and energy in this lively track composed by Pritam and sung by Dev Negi, Sunidhi Chauhan, and the Nooran sisters. The best part is we get to see Shahrukh in a turban for the first time.
