‘Aiyaary’ is a popular Hindi term used for ‘Ultimate Trickery’. In many folklores and legends, ‘Aiyaars’ were referred to as spies cum magicians hired by members of the royal families for their help and well-being. Ever since the trailer of ‘Aiyaary’ released, people have been absolutely fascinated with its title.
Neeraj Pandey, the popular producer and director of films like ‘M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ has written and directed this phenomenal movie starring Siddharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee, which is about to release on the 9th of February 2018. You must all be patiently waiting to witness the extraordinary saga of an East Indian colonel, who has only 36 hours to capture his former protégé- a rogue major who can bring down the government.
The soundtracks are as thrilling and as pleasing to the ears as the movie. Let’s read the review.
Lae Dooba
For ‘Lae Dooba’, we find Sunidhi Chauhan trying out a genre, that she is not much used to. Sunidhi, the rock star of the Bollywood playback music industry is heard singing a mellow and soft romantic number after a long time. It’s as if Sunidhi’s voice texture has been refurbished. Rochak Kohli, now quite a popular musician, has composed the music which exudes some feel-good vibes. Manoj Muntashir, the lyricist could have been a little bit more innovative with his lyrics. The official music video released by the ZeeMusicCompany shows us Rakul Preet and Sidharth Malhotra’s sweet courtship days. Rating: 4/5
Yaad Hai
‘Yaad Hai’, is another sentimental track from ‘Aiyaari’. It is a proof of Ankit Tiwari’s expertise as a playback singer and music director. Palak Mucchal’s sugary sweet voice and soulful singing style add an edge to this otherwise not so unique song. Manoj Muntashir has penned down the beautiful lyrics, which takes us back to the happy old days that Sidharth and Rakul Preet had spent together. So basically this song and the video is reminiscent of their perfect relationship, which doesn’t remain the same at present. Rating: 5/5
Shuru Kar
The ‘Shuru Kar’ official music video was released by the Zee Music Company around 5 days back, but it has received a massive number of positive reviews. The song is a soft rock number. Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh unleash their inner rockstars and sway huge crowds. They put the entire stage on fire with their electrifying performance. Rochak Kohli’s composition quite hits the mark. Hats off to Neha Bhasin, Rochak Kohli and Amit Mishra’s excellent coordination as singers. Manoj Muntashir’s lyrics come in as a whiff of fresh air, especially for this track. Rating: 3/5
This exhilarating film is dedicated to the brave soldiers, who laid down their lives for the country in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war and after quite a long time we get to hear such good melodies in a Bollywood political thriller.
